Helping verbs or auxiliary verbs(auxiliary verbs), as they
are also know as, are always coupled with another verb.
Questões são formadas com os verbos acima colocando-os no começo
da frase. Must dificilmente é usado em questões.
These verbs are called helping verbs because they usually appear together
with other verbs, although they sometimes appear by themselves.
Esses verbos são chamados auxiliares porque eles aparecem junto com outros
verbos, embora muitas vezes apareçam sozinhos.
Although the following verbs appear by themselves, they still are acting as
helping verbs since the main verb is implied.
Note que quando um verbo segue can, should ou must,
não é precedido por to. To sempre precede o segundo verbo.
Some verbs, like need, are sometimes helping verbs and sometimes just
verbs.
